Beach weddings are one of the most popular of ceremonies on Maui. We have an incredible number of beautiful public beaches, most of which are free to use.

Beach weddings can consist of a simple ceremony, with just the wedding couple, minister and musician, to a full entourage of photographer, videographer, dove release, hula dancing, Hawaiian processional, wedding arch, and much, much more.

You name it, and Maui's finest can make it happen for you! - MB

A Beach Wedding

A Maui beach wedding can be very simple and romantic. You can also hire additional vendors and services so that you can have everything you want for your wedding. Some couples dress up formal for their beach wedding. Most will wear Aloha attire, which consists of Hawaiian shirts for the men and Hawaiian dresses for the women. The bride, in many cases, will still opt to wear a beautiful wedding dress or gown, which really sets her apart from everyone else.

Beaches are public and free to use. Please keep in mind that if Maui is busy with many visitors, you may have other people on the beach during your ceremony.

We can never guarantee your privacy on a public beach, but almost all beach goers are polite and very supportive and respectful. They even sometimes clap at the end of a ceremony to show support and love and aloha! Other people on the beach, enjoying Maui's natural beauty, should be considered part of the landscape, part of the canvas upon which you are being married.

Please remember, there are no rules here... merely... what you might call... guidelines! This is your day... and you can have it any way that you want it, mixing traditional with untraditional! Just let us know what you want, and we can make it happen!

Most Maui beach weddings consist of the couple and a minister. Many couples opt to have a photographer and video, (highly recommended). Many wedding parties have music, which adds some much emotion to their day. Music supports the love and having a favorite song sung during your ceremony really adds to the meaning! Dove releases are awesome on the beach, as the doves usually circle a few times to get their bearings before heading home, and the photographer and videographer can usually catch their flight!

You can also have an arch with flowers for your beach wedding. Whether you have all the frills, or just a simple minister only wedding, the backdrop... the ocean, mountains and sky, are breath taking! Romance is in the air, and will fill your beach wedding no matter how simple or how formal you make it!
